About Us

Phoenix Operations Group is an engineering services company that develops software analytics to protect US Warfighters and advance US Intelligence efforts. While our primary customers are DoD organizations, we also specialize in inter-agency functionality that bridges federal, military, and commercial efforts. Our technical competencies include Big Data analytics, Cloud-Hosted platforms, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Multi-INT applications, and enterprise architectures.

A corporate leader with 20+ years of experience supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

His areas of expertise include the alignment of technical, financial, operational, and strategic objectives. Greg is also a lauded engineer holding long-standing relationships with leaders in the federal space.

Devin Edwards - COO & CSO

Devin Edwards

COO & CSO

A seasoned director with 20+ years of experience as a leader and developer in both the federal and private sectors, locally and abroad.

His areas of expertise include strategy, team building, business development, program management, capture management, big data integration, development of entity tracking software, collection systems, and the design and development of enterprise mission systems.

Devin spends his free time with his family of 4 kids, wife and rough collie. They’re focused on giving back through their non-profit charity, Ava’s Flavas, and supporting the motorsport community.

Tony Westly - CTO

Tony Westly

CTO

An acclaimed cloud systems architect with 30+ years of experience in tactical intelligence architecture within the federal intelligence space.

Tony retired as a Chief Warrant Officer with twenty years of service in the U.S. Army. His assignments include tactical intelligence units and EAC commands as the Intelligence Architecture Officer. He also served in the Battle Command Battle Lab developing, testing and deploying prototype solutions for next generation intelligence automation systems.

Tony’s areas of expertise include driving predictive analytic software product development, blending commercial and federal practices, tactical and cyber intelligence analysis, and systems engineering.

Susan Edwards

Director of Operations

An established director with a background in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, and 20+ years in the Department of Defense industry. Her areas of expertise include program management, customer support, proposal development and management, business operations, and resource management.

Susan spends her free time with her family of 4 kids, husband, and rough collie. She’s dedicated to supporting two non-profits near and dear to her heart; Ava’s Flavas, Inc. and Camp Sunrise, Inc., both of which support pediatric cancer patients and their families.

Melissa Westly

Director of Product Development

Melissa brings a unique blend of passion and expertise with 30+ years of experience in the intelligence community as a military veteran spanning tactical to strategic roles and Intelligence Analyst.
Known for embracing emerging technologies and adeptly identifying practical, real-world use cases her expertise extends across development direction, validation, demonstrations, marketing, and portfolio management. Melissa remains a steadfast advocate for intelligence analysts during design, development, and testing phases.

Community Impact and Company Activities

While we take our work seriously, we also know how important it is to let our hair down and spend some time together doing fun activities as a team, including an annual holiday party for employees from across the country.

The past few years have included a Murder Mystery, Dinner Cruise, and a Mentalist Performance. Some other fun activities we’ve hosted include: Paintballing, Go-karting, Ziplining, Polo events, Chili-cookoff, Crab Feasts, and Baseball games.

One of our favorite things to do as a team is to get out and support our local community. We work with a variety of local non-profits, charities, and organizations. Some of our most recent community contributions include:

  • Resume workshops for active and retired military
  • Sponsoring High Performance Heroes, which places combat injured veterans in race cars
  • Hope Bag packing party for pediatric cancer patients
  • CPR class and certification
  • AFCEA 5Ks
